Mr Akash Prasad, LLB, FICDROResearch Fellow ICDRO- International Commission of Dispute Resolution Online Mr. Akash A. Prasad is a dual-qualified legal practitioner with admission to practice as a barrister and solicitor in both Fiji and Nauru. A graduate of the University of the South Pacific (LLB, PDLP), Akash has extensive experience in both public and private legal practice, including roles as Legal Officer to the Labasa and Savusavu Town Councils and Associate at leading law firms in Fiji and as Associate to the Justices of the Nauru Court of Appeal, supporting the court’s appellate work across a broad range of complex constitutional and legal matters. He brings to ABS&P a wealth of expertise in litigation, legal research, drafting, and advisory work across civil, criminal, commercial, and local government law. Known for his integrity, precision, and quiet leadership, Akash has been recognised for his professional standards since his early legal training and has continued to earn distinction through both his work and judicial service. He has participated in regional forums including the Commonwealth Conference on Cybercrime in the Pacific and the Pacific Judicial Integrity Program. Akash is fluent in English, Fijian, Hindi.
